When someone picks the Gnani Purush’s [the enlightened one’s] ‘pocket’, how does the Gnani Purush’’ look at it? “Very well! This amount is now credited to my account”! Money spent for the home is money down the drain. How can anyone ‘see’ this [fact] with the narrow inner intent of ‘mine and yours’? With an all encompassing [broader] intent, one will see ‘as it is’, that is called ‘Gnan’ [Knowledge].

Unity does not exist in the world. Only when the Gnani Purush [the enlightened one] grants moksha [liberation], does unity arise. Unity cannot prevail without Gnan [knowledge of the self].

Whatever one does in this world, he does it out of compulsion; so it is indeed our lack of understanding when we scold someone for what they do. If you scold him, he will do it even more. (Instead) You should explain to him with love. All diseases will disappear with love. You will get pure love either from the Gnani Purush [the enlightened one] or his followers!

The world believes ‘asakti’ [infatuation, attraction of atoms] to be love and (then) become confused. Woman has some work from men and men has some work from women. All this has arisen because of work (expectations). If work does not get completed, all within will complain and form an attack. Not for even a second has anyone become one’s own. Only the Gnani Purush [the enlightened one] will become yours. That is why the Lord has said, ‘Every living being is an orphan’.

He who controls the minds of others is a ‘Gnani’ (the enlightened one). Only when your mind is completely under your control, can other’s mind come under your control. How can the other persons mind come under your control when one has disturbances himself.

Who is free from illusory attachment (nirmohi)? The Gnani Purush (the enlightened one). He can see flesh and bones, through and through.

Ambalal Muljibhai’ (Dada’s relative self) is under the control of worldly interactions, and ‘we’ (The Gnani Purush) are in the control of nischaya (realm of the Self). Worldly interaction should not be scorned at, at all.

Because of anger-pride-deceit-greed, selfishness [self-interest] remains and consequently one has no awareness of who dies or who takes birth. It is simply a wrong belief that has arisen. But after a long time, as one progresses, if he meets a Gnani Purush [the enlightened one], he will acquire the awareness that birth and death is simply a phase.

At the time of death, one says, ‘Dear Lord, extend my life for two more hours, so that a Gnani Purush [the enlightened one] comes and I can do his darshan.’ He complains in this way. Do not complain now. Why are you pleading now? When you had the control, you didn’t do anything and now that you no longer have the control, you are making demands?

We’ (the Gnani Purush, the enlightened one) would never say to anyone, ‘listen to me!’ because that is indeed not under his control.

One's liberation begins once he does the darshan of kashaya-free (absence of inner anger, pride, deceit and greed) Gnani purush [the enlightened one]. Who is considered kashaya-free? The one whose state is that where there was no kashaya, there is no kashaya, and there never will be any. The one who is never in the state of the non-Self. Doing darshan of such a One brings ultimate well being.

This [worldly life] is a huge entanglement; every sub-atomic particle of it is an entanglement and it is impossible to break free from it. Which is why the Lord has said, ‘If you encounter a Gnani Purush [the enlightened one], remain with Him’.

We’ (the Gnani Purush, the enlightened one) do not have the time to prove that ‘ours’ is correct; nor do ‘we’ have the time to make you correct as well.

Saints guide people on the path of religion [dharma] and the Gnani Purush [the enlightened one] grants ‘liberation’ (moksha).

Everyone knows how to subtract the gross form of ‘my’ (tangible ‘my’). But how can he know how to subtract the subtle, subtler and the subtlest forms of ‘my’? That is the work of the ‘Gnani Purush’ [the enlightened one].

Whatever one knows, he knows on the basis of his egoism. The ‘Gnani’ [The enlightened one], who doesn’t know how to do anything; has no egoism whatsoever.

Those who are in vyavahar (worldly interactions), and who are indeed conducting themselves in the vyavahar; are known as worldly people [sansaari]. And ‘Siddha’ (absolutely enlightened Ones without a body) are not in the worldly conduct whatsoever. Therefore, they are known as the ‘non-worldly’ people [asansaari]! Then there are those who are in the worldly life and yet whose conduct is not in the worldly life at all; such ‘Gnani Purush (the enlightened ones)’ are called, ‘non-worldly’ (asansaar

There are two ways by which one will realize the life’s goal. If we have not met a Gnani Purush, then we should live life in such a way, that we hurt no one. Our highest goal should be to not hurt any living being in the slightest. The other way is if you encounter the Gnani Purush, then you should remain in the Gnani’s satsang. In doing so, all your work will be accomplished. All the 'puzzles' will be solved.

No one has been successful in this ‘race course’. One simply dies of exhaustion from running. ‘We’ (the Gnani Purush, the enlightened one) never take part in this race. ‘We’ would simply tell, ‘Dear Man, I am not capable.

If only one word of the ‘Gnani Purush’ [the enlightened one] is understood, then your welfare [that which liberates] is done.

The whole world can be explained in just one sentence. ‘What is being discharged (visarjan) is old and what is being charged (sarjan) is new’. If someone is discharging bad behavior but at the same time, has learned from the ‘Gnani Purush’ [the enlightened one]; he would be charging a higher life form!

The Gnani Purush simply makes the separation in one’s vision: ‘This is the vision of the Soul, the real Self’ and ‘this is the vision of the worldly self’. Otherwise a person can never make this change in his vision. One’s vision of ‘I am Chandubhai’ (vikalpi drashti) will never become the vision of ‘I am the Pure Soul’ (nirvikalpi drashti).

The Lord states, ‘What can one do to go to moksha? He can go if he attains the right belief of the Self; or if he attains the grace of the Gnani Purush’.

The Gnani Purush [The enlightened one] always remains untouched in his worldly interactions. Everything will get resolved for us if we go to Him. He shows us what is ‘correct’ and what is ‘incorrect’.

Everyone’s unfolding karma will change. To maintain equanimity during the unfolding of karmic effect is the Gnanis’ (Self-realized person’s) duty.

What is the value of the Gnani’s [the enlightened one’s] feet? It is a value that is immeasurable. The Gnani’s feet is one & the only solvent to dissolve egoism.

Gnani Purush’ [the enlightened one] has the [knowledge of the-Self] essence of all religions.

To be free of insistence [free of forcing one's own opinion] is the path of Vitragta [attachment-free state, the enlightened one]. Quit insisting at all places. To even insist on the truth, God has considered it as ignorance. There is no insistence in ‘Us’ whatsoever!

Every human being needs security. The one, who does not have security, will be in fear. So he will look for security outside if he does not get it at home. The Gnani Purush [the enlightened one] is the only one who does not need any security. The Gnani is considered to be free from all dependency (niralamb). Others will take support from Him, but He will not take any support. Only the Gnani Purush can remain free from dependency in this world.

Even if you insult him, he gives you his blessings; such a one only is the Gnani Purush [The enlightened one]!

We’ (the Gnani Purush, the enlightened one) are by nature, non-interfering. If ‘we’, ourselves are non-interfering, then how can interfering people around ‘us’ can touch ‘us’? All interferences go away in ‘our’ [the Gnani’s] presence. What problems can the one that dwells in the Self [the Soul], have? The worldly life does not hinder the one who dwells in the Self.

These are all ‘ghosts’. If you are afraid, the ghosts will possess you. If there is inner fear of ‘what if they hang me?’; then one should say, ‘yes, that is correct’. The Soul can never be hung; nothing [worldly] can touch the Soul. All the doings are that of the pudgal (matter; non-Self). The noose for hanging is pudgal and the one doing hanging (the hangman), is also pudgal. The Soul has never been hung. This [fact] does not fit one’s vision and that is why he has fear. One is said to be enlightened with the Right Knowledge when his conduct is appropriate in any situation.

In order to make the egoism non-existent [zero], the Gnani Purush [the enlightened one] establishes the awareness of the Pure Soul within.

Worshipping ‘Gnani Purush’ [the enlightened one] is equal to worshiping the Pure Soul and it is indeed same as the worship of absolute supreme Self (Parmatma). And it is the main cause for moksha [final liberation].

If you want to know the answer to ‘Who am I?’, then you will have to go to a Gnani purush [the enlightened one]. The Gnani Purush will give you Knowledge of your real Self [Who Am I] in the presence of the egoism. Thereafter your accounts (karmic) will be settled [& things will start falling in place].

The one who protects the body-complex (pudgal) is not the 'enlightened one' (Gnani). A Gnani is the protector of only the Soul and it’s natural attributes.

If you experience bliss of the Self (samadhi) amidst complete problematic stage, then know that you have met a “Gnani Purush” [the enlightened one]!

There is no means other than vitrag-science (science that frees us from all attachments) that will give Final-Liberation [Moksha]. Other means [methods, instruments] will cause bondage; they only help to pass the time; [whereas] means to attain the Eternal Thing (experience of Pure Soul) can be attained from the ‘Gnani Purush’ (the enlightened one).

What is human beauty based on? It is based on how much egoism one has. Gnani Purush (the enlightened one) is without egoism so his beauty is beyond words!

If someone says, "the Gnani Purush is happy in the 'Real' but happy or unhappy in the 'relative’", then I would say, "No, the Gnani Purush Knows the 'relative' as being the 'relative', and therefore He is happy in the relative as well.

It is natural for a person to make a mistake (commit a fault). What is the way to become free from that? Only the Gnani Purush [the enlightened one] can show it, (which is) ‘Pratikraman’.

The worldly life just goes round and round; there is no end to it. If you want to bring an end to it, ask the Gnani Purush [The enlightened one], ‘How long do I have to keep on wandering? I have been going round and round like the ox running the millwheel. Tell the Gnani Purush ‘please bring about a resolution for me!

Gnani Purush’ (the enlightened one) is considered to be the owner of the whole universe. And yet, there is not the slightest egoism in Him. Where there is no authority, there is egoism and where there is authority, there is no egoism. This is the wonder of ‘Gnani Purush!’ ‘Gnani Purush’ is the manifest light.

Why is it that ‘we’ (the Gnani Purush, the enlightened one) do not have any obstruction (antray)? It is because ‘we’ are in a desire-free state (Nirichchhak dasha).

We’ (the Gnani Purush, the enlightened one) have only one desire, and that too is a discharging desire of doing ‘Jagat kalyan’ (world’s salvation).

As long as the awareness of ‘doer-ship’ is there, till then, one keeps on ‘charging’ (karma). In the Akram-path, ‘we’ (the Gnani Purush) destroy your doer-ship. The awareness that ‘I am the doer’ goes away and we give the understanding of ‘who the doer is’. Therefore, ‘charging’ (of karma) stops! What is left now? Only the ‘discharge’ is left.

Who is considered as not living in the worldly life? The person who doesn’t have focus on the non-Self. ‘I’ (the Gnani Purush) do not live in the worldly life even for one moment. Liberation (Moksha) is to be found through the one who does not live in the worldly life. What can you not attain through the grace of such a person?

Gnani Purush’ (The Enlightened one) is pure, so one becomes pure by just seeing him.

Gnani Purush’ [the enlightened one] has become ‘Soul’ (Atma Self) while staying with the body.

The Enlightened one (Gnani Purush) never wastes his time in counting money focus of the awareness of the self (upayog) is wasted in doing this. One's focused awareness (upayog) is where he has ‘interest’!

How can one go from good [auspicious state] to pure (state)? There are no words for it. It will happen when the Gnani Purush (the enlightened one) gives the awareness of the Self it will happen when He bestows God’s grace upon you.

The worldly vision is filled with infinite infatuations and attachments and no one can escape from it [hence] there is no alternative other than staying in Gnani’s feet [surrendering to the enlightened one is the only alternative].
